The 24-year-old joined the White Knights last summer from French outfit Saint-Etienne on a season-long loan deal with an option to make the move permanent for €1 million.
Zamalek activated the buyout clause in Bentayg’s contract, securing his services at the club for the next three seasons.
The former Raja Casablanca defender has featured in 21 matches across all competitions for the Cairo-based side this season, scoring once and registering three assists.
Bentayg delivered standout performances for Zamalek, playing a key role in their CAF Super Cup triumph over arch-rivals Ahly in September 2024.
He has been a regular starter relegating former Egypt international Ahmed Fatouh to the bench.
Zamalek currently sit third in the Egyptian Premier League table with 32 points, trailing second-placed Ahly by four points and 10 points behind leaders Pyramids FC.
