US embassy in Cairo issued a security alert message for its nationals in Egypt warning of "credible information" indicating the possibility of terrorist attacks targeting female American Christian missionaries in Egypt.
The embassy advised its citizens to retain valid travel documents at all times and called on those who have no internet access to contact the embassy or the consulate to facilitate access to them in case of emergencies.
