A 3.96 magnitude earthquake hits Egypt's Nuweiba Saturday afternoon
A 3.96 magnitude earthquake on the Richter scale was recorded in Nuweibaa, 113 kilometres north of Sharm El-Sheikh in South Sinai Sunday afternoon, according to Egypt’s National Research Institute of Astronomy and Geophysics (NRIAG).

NRIAG reported that the earthquake occurred at 1:31 pm (Cairo Time) on Thursday at a depth of 16.07 kilometres.
The Nuweibaa station recorded the earthquake with a magnitude of 3.96 on the Richter scale.
So far, no casualties, property damage, or structural harm have been reported, according to NRIAG.
