Born in 1954, Al-Turk began his artistic career in the early 2000s in supporting roles, participating with renowned actors and directors.
He appeared in numerous films, including Samir Seif’s His Excellency the Minister (2002), Volcano of Rage (2002), starring Tamer Hagras and Farah, and Eyes Magic (2002), starring Amer Mounib, Nelly Karim, and Hala Shiha.
In 2004, he participated in Secret Services Suitor, starring Adel Emam and Sherif Mounir, Tarek Elerian’s Tito, and My Aunt Faransa, starring Abla Kamel and Mona Zaki.
Furthermore, he acted in Inas El Deghedy’s Searching For Freedom and Ramy Emam’s Booha in 2005.
His cinema work also includes Wael Ehsan’s Born to Be a Criminal (2006), The Ghost (2007), starring Ahmed Ezz and Zeina, Morgan Ahmed Morgan (2007), starring Adel Emam, and Saeed Hamed’s The President’s Chef (2008).
Al-Turk was famous for playing the role of a businessman, school principal, doctor, or manager in most of his roles.
He appeared in several TV series, such as Disobedience (2002), starring Mahmoud Yassin and Fadia Abdelghany, and Aunt Nour (2003), starring Nabila Ebeid and Ezzat Abo Ouf.
Al-Turk also participated in renowned screenwriter Osama Anwar Okasha’s Canaria and Company (2003).
In 2006, he played roles in the biography of Asmahan, Devil’s Gardens, starring Gamal Soliman and Somaya El-Khashab, Shereen Adel’s Homeless Kids, Vegetable Market, starring Fifi Abdou and Samy El-Adl, the biography of Imam Al-Maraghi, and Paternity Case, starring Abla Kamel and Ezzat Abo Ouf.
Moreover, he appeared in Magdy Abo-Emeira’s Raised in His Wealth (2007) and Dead Heart (2008).
Al-Turk was also featured in King Farouk (2007), starring Syrian actor Taim Hassan.
His most recent roles were in 2023 in the film Tag, starring Tamer Hosny and Dina El-Sherbiny, and two TV series: Third of Three, starring Ghada Abdel-Razek, and Gaafar El-Omda, starring Mohamed Ramadan.
