Egyptian national team coach Bob Bradley has agreed to let five Zamalek players join their club's pre-season training camp in Kuwait, which begins just five days before the national team's own camp in the UAE.

"Bradley agreed to release Zamalek's five international players: Mohamed Abdel-Shafi, Omar Gaber, Mohamed Ibrahim, Ahmed El-Shennawy and Mohamed Salah to take part in the club's camp in Kuwait on 3 October," read a statement on Zamalek's official website on Sunday.

The Cairo giants are scheduled to play two friendlies during the camp against Ismaily on 5 October and Kuwaiti side Al-Tadamon three days later.

"The five players will join Egypt's camp in UAE on 8 October," the statement added.

The Egyptian national team will hold a closed camp in the United Arab Emirates on 8 October amid preparations for their 2014 World Cup qualifiers against Zimbabwe in March. Egypt are currently top of Group G after beating Mozambique and Guinea.

"We thank Bob Bradley for allowing Zamalek's international players to join the Kuwait camp," the statement concluded.
