According to the Egyptian foreign ministry, the calls included EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas, Norwegian FM Espen Barth Eide, and Spanish FM José Manuel Albares.
The Egyptian FM condemned the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip as a blatant violation of the ceasefire agreement, warning against its severe repercussions on regional stability.
He stressed that Israel's actions are reigniting tensions in the region and obstructing efforts aimed at de-escalation and restoring stability.
Abdelatty also underscored the importance of all parties exercising restraint to allow mediators to continue their efforts towards securing a lasting ceasefire through its three-phase plan.
The Egyptian and European top diplomats agreed to maintain ongoing communication and coordination to curb the escalation in the Gaza Strip.
Earlier Tuesday, Israel launched a series of airstrikes on Gaza, killing nearly 500 Palestinians and injuring another 500, marking the most significant violation of its fragile ceasefire agreement with Hamas.
