According to a statement by the Egyptian cabinet, the meeting, held in the presence of the Palestinian Ambassador to Cairo, Diab Al-Louh, focused on coordination between regional and international partners to implement reconstruction plans.

The cabinet added that Madbouly reaffirmed Egypt's unwavering support for the Palestinian people and its commitment to reconstruction efforts while ensuring that Palestinians remain on their land.

Madbouly emphasized that Egypt's reconstruction plan for Gaza, recently endorsed by the Arab Emergency Summit in Cairo, would involve further coordination with various regional and international stakeholders and the Palestinian authorities to finalize implementation details.

He also stressed the urgent need to uphold the ceasefire to prevent further bloodshed and allow for early recovery and reconstruction efforts in Gaza.

Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa, for his part, agreed that adhering to the ceasefire is essential to facilitating progress in the reconstruction process. He also highlighted ongoing coordination with Arab and Islamic nations and key international actors to prepare for the upcoming Gaza Reconstruction Conference.

At the meeting's conclusion, the two sides agreed to continue consultations and coordination in the coming period to support efforts to implement the reconstruction plan and maintain the ceasefire.
