At least 19 Palestinians were killed in Israeli airstrikes overnight and into Monday, Al Jazeera reported, citing health officials.
In southern Gaza, Israeli forces bombed a tent sheltering displaced people in the Al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis, killing two people and injuring others.
Earlier, Israeli warplanes targeted three residential buildings in Khan Younis, killing 10 Palestinians, including children, according to medical sources and eyewitnesses cited by Anadolu Agency.
In central Gaza, three Palestinians were killed in an Israeli strike on Al-Masdar, east of Deir Al-Balah, according to medical officials at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital. Two others were killed in Al-Maghazi refugee camp and Al-Zawaida, Al Jazeera reported.
In northern Gaza, an Israeli airstrike east of Jabalia refugee camp killed two Palestinians and injured several others.
More than 1,000 Palestinians killed since 18 March
Since
resuming its genocide in the Gaza Strip on 18 March, Israel has killed at least 1,001 Palestinians, the majority women and children, according to the Palestinian health ministry’s latest update on Monday.
The ministry reported that 80 people were killed in the past 48 hours, bringing the overall death toll in Gaza since the war began on 7 October 2023 to 50,357.
On the first day of Eid Al-Fitr alone, at least 53 Palestinians were killed and 189 injured across the besieged territory, the ministry added.
