Cairo-based Tunisian actress Inas El-Naggar dies at age 47

Tunisian actress Inas El-Naggar passed away in the early hours of Monday, following a short battle with illness, her friend announced on Facebook.

El-Naggar first appeared in Bahaa Sultan’s music video Ya Tara (1999).

El-Naggar began her artistic career as an actress in the early 2000s by participating in renowned screenwriter Wahid Hamed’s story His Excellency the Minister (2002), starring Ahmed Zaki.

Director Mohamed El-Naggar chose her to take part in his film Mido the Troublemaker (2003). She went on to appear in El-Naggar’s films I Love You, Me Too (2003), starring Mostafa Amar and Somaya El-Khashab and Ali Spicy (2005), starring Hakim and El-Khashab.

She also acted in films Peace Bro (2004), starring Mostafa Kamel and Karkar (2007), starring Mohamed Saad.

She appeared in several TV series, such as Magdy Abu-Emeira’s Raised in His Wealth (2007), starring Yehia El-Fakharany and Ali Mubarak (2008), starring Kamal Abu Raya.

El-Naggar starred in the film Sensations (2010) alongside Randa El-Beheiry, Donia Abdelaziz, and Ahmed Azmi.

Her most recent role was in Ramadan 2025’s TV series The Chiseler, starring Mohamed Ragab and Abeer Sabry.
