A statement from the Egyptian presidency indicated that the two leaders are set to hold a bilateral meeting and then an expanded session of talks involving senior officials from both countries.
The discussions are expected to culminate in signing several agreements and memoranda of understanding.
El-Sisi and Macron will also hold a joint press conference following the talks.
Later in the day, King Abdullah II of Jordan will join the two presidents for a tripartite summit on the ongoing situation in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, the statement read.
Macron arrived in Cairo Sunday evening to start his official visit at the invitation of President El-Sisi.
He began his visit by touring the Giza Grand Egyptian Museum and walking through Old Cairo’s historic streets.
