The Palestinian death toll in Gaza has risen to 1,391 people killed and 3,434 wounded since Israel resumed its genocidal war on 18 March, a ministry statement read.
The overall casualties among Palestinians since 7 October 2023 have reached 50,752 killed and 115,475 injured.
On Monday dawn, a strike on a media tent outside Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis set the tent ablaze, killing at least two people, including Palestine Today journalist Helmy Al-Faqawi, and wounding nine others, including six reporters, medics said.
Hospitals said another 28 people were killed in separate strikes across the territory, AP reported.
In addition, a previous casualty report indicated that 15 others were killed.
Israel also struck tents on the edge of Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in the central city of Deir Al-Balah, wounding three people, according to the hospital.
Nasser Hospital said it received another 20 bodies, including eight women and five children, from separate strikes overnight and into Monday.
Meanwhile, Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital said two additional strikes on homes in Deir Al-Balah killed eight people, including three women and three children.
