The 25-year-old midfielder sustained the injury in the 87th minute following a strong challenge by Pharco’s Yassin El-Mallah, who was immediately shown a red card.
Kendouci was transported to an Alexandria hospital near El Max Stadium.
Scans confirmed the fracture, and the player is set to undergo surgery on Sunday.
“Thank God, the injury is away from tendons and ligaments,” his agent Nasser Yehia told FilGoal.com.
“He will be sidelined for about three to four months according to the doctor’s report.”
The agent added that El-Mallah visited the hospital to check on the player.
Kendouci received support from the football community, including Egyptian veteran Shikabala and Algeria’s national team members.
“It’s fair to say all of Algeria reached out,” Yehia said.
Kendouci’s injury came shortly before teammate Mohamed Reda scored the second goal and broke into tears in solidarity. Ahmed Ramadan had netted the opener for Ceramica.
The win moved Ceramica Cleopatra to sixth place in the final league stage with 27 points, one ahead of Pharco.
