In Sunday’s ongoing game against West Ham United, the Pharaohs skipper provided a stunning assist for teammate Luis Diaz who opened the score for the Reds.
Ahead of today's game and after 31 games of the top flight competition, the 32-year-old star had 44 direct contributions; including 27 goals and 17 assists.
The first half of West Ham game ended with a 1-0 lead for Liverpool.
On Friday, Salah signed a new contract with Liverpool, extending his stay at Anfield beyond the 2024–25 season.
Since joining from Italy’s AS Roma in 2017, Salah has become one of the club’s all-time greats. He has scored 243 goals in 394 appearances—third on the club’s all-time list—and helped Liverpool win seven major trophies, including the Premier League and Champions League.
Salah has continued to shine this season, netting 32 goals and registering 23 assists in 46 appearances. His 27 goals in the Premier League currently top the scoring charts.
