Liverpool are now on the brink of securing the title after Virgil van Dijk's dramatic late winner against West Ham.
The Reds currently sit at the top of the table with 76 points, 13 ahead of second-place Arsenal.
Liverpool need only six points from their six remaining games to be crowned Premier League champions.
“We are very close to winning the Premier League and will try to secure the title early,” Salah told BeIn Sports after the match.
“West Ham are a strong opponent, and today’s victory was crucial as we enter this decisive stage,” He added.
The 32-year-old recently signed a contract extension with Liverpool, ensuring his stay at Anfield beyond the 2024–25 season and further solidifying his legacy as one of the club’s all-time greats as he approaches the final years of his illustrious career.
“I’m very happy to extend my contract with Liverpool, especially before the end of the season,” Salah said.
Since joining Liverpool from AS Roma in 2017, Salah has scored 243 goals in 394 appearances, making him third on the club’s all-time scoring list.
He has also played a pivotal role in Liverpool’s seven major trophy wins, including the Premier League and Champions League titles.
