Israeli soldiers entered the hospital’s emergency and registration departments in the presence of patients and visitors, triggering panic and fear, eyewitnesses told WAFA.
The troops reportedly arrested a teenage boy, whose identity has not yet been confirmed, and a hospital staff member for a short period.
The Israeli assault on Jenin City and its refugee camp has continued for the 84th consecutive day, leaving 36 Palestinians dead and dozens more injured or detained.
According to the Popular Committee in Jenin, Israel has forcibly displaced 3,227 families, amounting to roughly 20,000 Palestinians, since the start of its military assault in January.
Israel has carried out widespread destruction within the camp, demolishing about one-third of its buildings, the committee told Al Jazeera.
Moreover, the Israeli army launched a series of raids, searches, and arrests across several cities in the West Bank on Monday, injuring four Palestinians with live bullets and tear gas during clashes at the Al-Jalazone refugee camp north of Ramallah.
A total of 13 Palestinians were detained during these raids, including an injured person and a former prisoner, sources told Al Jazeera.
