El-Sisi arrives in Kuwait on second leg of Gulf tour

President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi arrived in Kuwait on Monday, marking the second stop of his Gulf tour, following his visit to Qatar.

Upon his arrival at the Amiri Airport, President El-Sisi was warmly received by Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, and Acting Prime Minister Sheikh Fahad Yousef Al-Sabah.

In a symbolic gesture of welcome and solidarity, a number of Kuwaiti fighter jets escorted the presidential plane as it entered Kuwaiti airspace.
