Wed 23, 7pm: A seminar honors the memory of composer Sayed Darwish and poet Salah Jahin, accompanied by an art exhibition.

Thurs 17, 12noon: “Naguib Mahfouz: An Egyptian Tale” a conference on Nobel laureate in literature Naguib Mahfouz themed Naguib Mahfouz and the Egyptian Identity. It features a galaxy of writers and novelists such as Youssef El-Qaid, Khairy Doma, Haitham El-Hajj Ali, and Mohamed Mostagab. On the sidelines of the conference, a book fair will be held for Mahfouz’s books.
