Egyptian-Polish ties

During the meeting, Abdelatty praised the progress of Egyptian-Polish relations, especially in light of Poland's current European Union (EU) presidency.

He also discussed enhancing coordination and economic and trade ties between both nations and increasing investments in Egypt while commending the recent rise in Polish tourism to Egypt.

Moreover, the Egyptian FM welcomed the European Parliament's approval of the €4-billion second tranche of the EU's €7.4-billion financial package to Egypt earlier this month.

He expressed appreciation for Poland's support of Egypt within the EU institutions in light of the economic challenges it faces and the large numbers of refugees and migrants it hosts.
