"We continuously check visa holders to ensure they follow all US laws and immigration rules– and we will revoke their visas and deport them if they don't," the embassy said.
The announcement comes amid broader security and immigration enforcement by the US administration.
On Thursday, President Donald Trump's administration ordered a social media vetting for all US visa applicants who have been to the Gaza Strip on or after 1 January 2007, Reuters reported.
On 9 April, US immigration authorities said they would examine social media accounts and deny visas or residence permits to people who post content that Trump's administration deems anti-semitic.
However, several international students whose visas were recently revoked have filed lawsuits against the Trump administration after it suddenly revoked their permission to be in the US.
