The statement noted that the Border Guard foiled attempts to smuggle various narcotic substances, including hashish, hydro, bango, opium, and drug tablets.

Additionally, large quantities of goods that had not cleared customs duties were seized, and several cases of illegal migration, cross-border infiltration, and unregulated gold ore prospecting were prevented by intensifying inspection and monitoring operations along key roads and passageways, the military spokesperson clarified.

These efforts come as the Border Guard Forces continue to confront smugglers and criminal elements, thwarting numerous plots and activities aimed at undermining Egypt’s national security.

The statement added that this mission is carried out in accordance with the directives of the General Command of the Armed Forces to reinforce security measures across all strategic fronts of Egypt.

In conclusion, the statement highlighted that the Egyptian Border Guard Forces maintain strict control over all strategic areas to prevent lawbreakers from threatening national safety and endangering society.
