Both ministers made their remarks in a joint statement following the Egyptian-Saudi Political Consultation and Follow-up Committee held in Riyadh, the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
They also affirmed their full support for the Arab-Islamic plan for Gaza's early recovery and reconstruction, as well as the upcoming international conference in Egypt on Gaza, in cooperation with the UN and the Palestinian government.
Furthermore, the Egyptian and Saudi top diplomats stressed the importance of the two-state solution, expressing their firm rejection of any attempts aimed at displacing the Palestinian people from their land.
The ministers condemned any form of Palestinian displacement from Gaza, the West Bank, or East Jerusalem, whether temporary or permanent, forced or voluntary.

Middle East crises
According to the statement, both sides addressed regional and international issues of mutual concern, including recent developments in Libya, Sudan, Somalia, Syria, Lebanon, Yemen, and maritime security in the Red Sea.
They emphasized the necessity to respect Libya’s sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity, rejecting all forms of foreign interference in its internal affairs.
They called for the withdrawal of all foreign forces and mercenaries from Libya, underscoring the need to hold simultaneous presidential and parliamentary elections.
Additionally, they stressed the need to end the conflict and support state institutions, as well as all international and regional initiatives aimed at restoring stability in Sudan, particularly the Jeddah talks.
They also discussed the situation in Somalia and affirmed their support for its security and stability, as well as strengthening the capabilities of Somali state institutions to establish nationwide control.
In addition, both ministers reiterated the importance of preserving Syria’s unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, advocating for an inclusive political process and efforts to combat terrorism in all its forms.
They rejected all forms of foreign intervention in Syrian affairs, condemning the Israeli violations of Syrian territories, the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
Both sides also affirmed their countries’ support for Yemen’s legitimate government led by the Presidential Leadership Council.
The foreign ministers stressed the importance of safeguarding security, stability, and freedom of navigation in the Red Sea, reaffirming their shared commitment to enhancing regional peace and stability.

Egyptian-Saudi economic ties
Both top diplomats emphasized the importance of strengthening bilateral trade, investment, and economic ties between their countries.
For his part, Abdelatty highlighted the need to maximize the use of existing economic frameworks and promote mutual visits by senior officials, business leaders, and investors.
He also underlined Egypt's interest in enhancing economic cooperation, increasing trade volume, and encouraging greater Saudi investment.
He further stressed the significance of launching the Egyptian-Saudi Investment Forum as a crucial step in deepening economic ties between the two nations.
The two sides agreed on the importance of establishing the Egyptian-Saudi Supreme Coordination Council to advance bilateral cooperation across political, economic, cultural, social, military, and security fields.
Abdelatty also highlighted the Egyptian government's efforts to create an investor-friendly environment for Saudi businesses and investors.
Moreover, he outlined the incentives and financial and tax reforms that the state has recently implemented to support foreign investment.
FM Abdelatty further highlighted Egypt’s prioritization of localizing industry and technology, emphasizing the importance of industrial integration between Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
He also reviewed the facilities available to industrial investors in Egypt and called for alignment between Egypt's and Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 strategies to achieve effective industrial and economic cooperation.
