El-Sisi highlights Egypt focus on advancing education system

President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi highlighted on Wednesday Egypt's focus on advancing the education system, particularly the human factor, through precise selection and qualification processes.

This came during a meeting with Minister of Education and Technical Education Mohamed Abdel-Latif and Director of the Egyptian Military Academy Ashraf Salem Zaher.
During the meeting, President El-Sisi was briefed on the ongoing efforts of relevant state institutions to enhance the mechanisms of selecting and training educational professionals.
The Egyptian presidency said these efforts aim to ensure that candidates for teaching roles meet the highest scientific, technical, and personal standards.
The meeting also touched on several qualification areas within the educational process, focusing on strengthening and building teachers' capacities and skills.
In this regard, President El-Sisi emphasized the importance of prioritizing teachers' development, describing them as the cornerstone of the educational process.
He also underscored the state's efforts to ensure the highest levels of competence and objectivity in selection to enhance the quality of education.
