Zaki's remarks came during a press conference in Baghdad ahead of the 34th Arab League Summit, which will take place on Saturday.

Egypt is working to mobilise international support and raise funds for the Arab-Islamic plan for the early recovery and the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip.

The initiative comes amid growing recognition of the urgent need for coordinated Arab efforts to address the devastation in Gaza due to the Israeli aggression.

However, the challenge is significant, as other countries like Syria and Sudan face massive reconstruction needs after years of conflict

During the press conference, Zaki also addressed the upcoming conference on the Palestinian cause and the two-state solution, which Saudi Arabia and France will co-chair.

The primary goal of the conference, scheduled to take place in New York from 2 to 4 June, is to secure recognition of a Palestinian state by UN member states.

Addressing circulating news about the UAE's withdrawal from the summit in Baghdad, Zaki emphasised that the UAE did not withdraw. He also emphasised the highest level of representation in the 34th Arab League Summit.
