El-Sisi will present ِEgypt's vision on key challenges facing the region in his address during the summit.
The summit, scheduled for 17 May, will be held alongside the 5th Arab Economic and Social Development Summit.
According to Iraq's Ambassador to Egypt, Qahtan Taha Khalaf, the meetings aim to address the Arab world's complex challenges while emphasising the ongoing Arab-Israeli conflict.
The Summits are designed to foster "greater Arab cooperation and solidarity, make decisions, and adopt initiatives that will advance our efforts as Arab countries," noted Khalaf during a press conference in Cairo on 4 May.
Assistant Secretary-General of the League of Arab States Hossam Zaki announced Friday plans to establish an Arab fund to support recovery and reconstruction in conflict-affected countries.
Iraq's chairmanship of this year's summit marks its return to leading the Arab League Summit for the first time since it hosted the 23rd session in 2012. Iraq previously hosted the 9th summit in 1978.
