Egypt U-17 secured their place in the World Cup after defeating Angola 2-1 in the playoffs.
They failed to earn automatic qualification from the U-17 Africa Cup of Nations, held in Morocco last April, after finishing third in Group B behind Burkina Faso and South Africa.
The eight teams that reached the quarter-finals of the continental competition automatically qualified for the World Cup.
The Egyptian team is coached by former football legend Ahmed El-Kass.
