According to the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, with the arrival of this group, which consists of eight buses with 313 pilgrims, all 7,500 overland tourist pilgrims have arrived in Saudi Arabia for the Hajj season. The ministry added that 180 trips were organised to transport the pilgrims, stressing that its committees closely monitored the trips for which modern and safety-approved buses were used.

Furthermore, the ministry noted that its committees are monitoring arrivals at Nuweiba Port in Egypt, Aqaba Port in Jordan, and the Halat Ammar border crossing in Saudi Arabia, ensuring services meet standards, with further checks in Mecca and Medina to verify accommodation.

Samia Sami, Head of the Egyptian Hajj Tourism Affairs Office, praised the coordination between Egypt, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia, which shortened bus security inspection time from six hours to three.

According to the ministry, approximately 7,500 overland tourist Hajj visas have been issued this season, constituting 18 percent of Egypt's total tourist Hajj quota of 40,672. In addition, tourism companies organising Hajj journeys have provided 278 supervisors.
