Two Polish tourists injured in road crash on Safaga–Hurghada Road

Two Polish tourists were injured on Monday in a collision between a private car and a heavy truck on the Safaga–Hurghada highway in Egypt’s Red Sea Governorate.

The Red Sea Security Directorate received a report via the emergency hotline and dispatched ambulances to the scene.

The injured were transported to Hurghada General Hospital for treatment.

According to preliminary investigations, the victims were identified as 35-year-old Vladimir Nikiforuk, who sustained multiple bruises and abrasions, and his 27-year-old wife, Veronika, who suffered a head contusion, dizziness, and additional bruising.

A medical source at the hospital confirmed both are in stable condition and receiving appropriate care.

An official police report has been filed, and authorities have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
