Mohamed ‘Bobo’ Reda opened the scoring for Ceramica five minutes before halftime with a strike from outside the box, while South African striker Fagrie Lakay sealed the victory in the 79th minute.
Ceramica qualified for this year’s final after defeating Ismaily with a 2-0 result in the first leg and a 1-0 win in the return leg, while NBE Club advanced to the decider by overcoming Enppi with a 2-1 aggregate score across the two semi-final matches.
Ceramica Cleopatra continue their dominance over Egypt’s third-tier competition, having claimed the 2023 title with a 4-1 victory over Masry and crowned the 2024 edition after defeating Talae El-Geish 3-1 in the final.
With this result, Ceramica will now participate in the third edition of the revamped Egyptian Super Cup, which features four teams, including the League champions and title holders Ahly, Egypt Cup champions Zamalek, and a fourth team to be announced later.
