In a statement, the NFP said its chairman, Assem El-Gazzar, instructed the party’s specialized secretariats to examine the situation and present policy recommendations to minimize the expected fallout.

The meeting addressed the implications of the escalating regional conflict on vital Egyptian sectors, including energy, agriculture, industry, and trade.

According to the statement, the secretariats are preparing clear and actionable recommendations, which the party will submit to the appropriate authorities following internal discussions and approval.

El-Gazzar noted that the Egyptian economy can withstand such external shocks, crediting the Egyptian people, who “understand the nature of the challenges facing the country.”

He also praised President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi and the Egyptian state for their leadership and “tireless efforts” in supporting the Palestinian cause, which he described as central to the broader Middle East conflict.

The nascent NFP includes prominent founding members such as State Information Service head Diaa Rashwan; former Minister of Investment Sahar Nasr; former Speaker of the House of Representatives Ali Abdel-Aal; former Minister of Agriculture Al-Sayed Al-Qusseir; Deputy Speaker and businessman Mohamed Abul-Enein; former Youth Minister Taher Abu Zeid; and former Local Development Minister Mahmoud Shaarawi.

According to El-Gazzar, the party seeks to contribute to building a “new republic” grounded in social justice, political reform, the rule of law, and respect for human rights — under the banner Egypt for All.
