Abdelatty instructed the mission to communicate with community members 24 hours a day, address any issues they face promptly, and continue monitoring the evolving situation.
He also directed the mission to provide ongoing support and care for Egyptians in Iran.
The ministry urged the Egyptian community to stay in safe locations and report any difficulties to the embassy. It also called on all Egyptian nationals in Iran to exercise maximum caution and remain in secure areas.

The statement came after Israel launched airstrikes on Tehran Friday, targeting Iran’s nuclear infrastructure. The attack marked Israel’s most significant strike on Iranian soil since the 1980s Iran-Iraq war.
In response, Iran launched a wave of retaliatory strikes on Israel, hitting several areas, including Tel Aviv.
