During the conversation, Abdelatty reiterated Egypt’s position, calling for an immediate de-escalation, a ceasefire, and a return to diplomatic negotiations to reach a resolution regarding Iran’s nuclear programme. He warned of the urgent need to prevent further destabilization in a volatile region.

Abdelatty underscored the importance of sustained European engagement and stressed the need for coordinated international action to contain the crisis and avert a broader conflict.
