According to the Ministry of Culture, "the opening of these two cultural venues represents a qualitative addition to the cultural scene in North Sinai. Both sites have been fully equipped to provide various cultural services effectively to strengthen cultural presence in the border areas."

The ministry added that "the cultural sites are part of the Ministry of Culture's strategy to achieve cultural justice and are aligned with the implementation of the state's comprehensive plan for the development of Sinai."

Qatiyah Village Cultural House is one of the key cultural centres in North Sinai.

Located in Qatiyah Village in the Hasna District of North Sinai, the house, which is affiliated with the North Sinai Culture Branch, is part of the network of Culture Palaces spread across Egypt.

The Qatiyah Village Cultural House was established to serve the local community by promoting cultural awareness, education, and artistic expression. It has long been a hub for cultural exchange and social activities, providing a space for residents—especially youth—to engage with arts, literature, and heritage preservation.

The centre traditionally hosts events ranging from theatrical performances and poetry readings to educational workshops and local heritage celebrations. Over the years, it has played an essential role in fostering community cohesion in an area that faced various social and security challenges.

As for the Nakhl Cultural Palace, the centre is also part of the General Authority of Cultural Palaces' network and serves the Nakhl District in Central Sinai.

The Palace offers various cultural services to border communities. It is a creative hub with arts, tech, and literacy facilities.

The Palace offered painting and embroidery workshops, traditional folk performances, talent showcases for children and youth, and other activities in its many halls.

Following the extensive renovations, the Palace now offers modern amenities like a library, IT lab, art spaces, lecture halls, and a playground. It continues to serve as a key hub for artistic, literary, and educational activities for all ages in Sinai.
