Masry sign Ahly midfielder El-Saaiy on loan

Egyptian Premier League side Masry have signed Ahly midfielder Omar El-Saaiy on a one-season loan, the Port Said-based club announced on Wednesday.

El-Saaiy, a former Ismaily player, signed a five-year deal with Ahly in the summer of 2024 in a transfer worth $1 million, but fell out of favour under former coach Marcel Koller.

The 22-year-old made just 10 appearances last season, totaling 290 minutes, and was left out of Ahly’s squad for the ongoing FIFA Club World Cup.

Masry appointed Tunisian Nabil Kouki as their new head coach last month.
