The annual gathering is Central and South-Eastern Europe’s leading international conference, attracting over 2,000 participants from more than 50 countries, including heads of state, ministers, European Union (EU) officials, and policy experts.
Launched in 2006, the Bled Strategic Forum has evolved into a prominent global platform for debate on contemporary challenges and long-term strategies for a more stable and sustainable world.
This year’s forum, held under the theme A Runaway World, will focus on Europe’s role in navigating global instability, “permacrisis” and fractured geopolitics.
According to a statement by the Egyptian Foreign Ministry, Abdelatty is due to join a ministerial panel on Reviving Leadership and Multilateralism in an Era of Fragmented Conflicts, addressing ways to strengthen global cooperation amid deepening international divisions.
His programme also includes meetings with senior Slovenian officials, EU representatives, and several foreign ministers on the sidelines of the forum.
