Mahran’s recognition cements Orange Egypt’s distinguished position as a key player in the telecommunications sector and a pioneer in embedding sustainability at the core of its operations and strategy.

This honor reflects Orange Egypt’s transformation into not only a leader in advanced telecommunications and digital solutions but also a regional benchmark for sustainable business practices. Orange Egypt also expanded its solar-powered network sites under the G2G project and continued operating Egypt’s first fully solar-powered retail branch in Sharm El-Sheikh.

Reinforcing its commitment to the circular economy, Orange Egypt launched a nationwide electronic waste management program, recycled devices, reused 20% of network equipment, and replaced single-use plastic bags with biodegradable alternatives across all branches. The company also introduced E-SIM and Eco-SIM cards made from recycled plastic, strengthening its portfolio of eco-friendly solutions.

Hisham Mahran’s recognition by Forbes stands as a testament to Orange Egypt’s forward-looking sustainability strategy and reaffirms both regional and international confidence in the company’s leadership.
