The series of trilateral meetings also includes another meeting of the foreign ministers of Greece, Cyprus, and Jordan, and a third meeting of the foreign ministers of Greece, Cyprus, and Syria.

Similarly, Greek Minister of Foreign Affairs George Gerapetritis, whose country is the 2025 Ancient Civilisations Forum president, will chair the Ministerial Meeting of the forum.

Greece is a member of the UN Security Council for the 2025-2026 term. The priorities of its tenure include peaceful resolution of disputes, respect for International Law, upholding the “Women, Peace and Security” agenda, combating climate change, protecting children in armed conflicts, and guaranteeing maritime security.

In this context, Gerapetritis will address the Security Council’s emergency session on the situation in the Middle East, including the Palestinian question, as well as the UN Security Council session on relations between the UN and the League of Arab States, under the Presidency of the Republic of Korea.

He will hold numerous high-level meetings with Ministers of foreign affairs from Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Africa, and Central and Latin America, where he will discuss the war in Ukraine, the crisis in the Middle East, developments in Sub-Saharan Africa, and modern global challenges.

Gerapetritis will also participate in the High-level Meeting to Commemorate the 80th Anniversary of the establishment of the United Nations, as well as in the International Conference on the Two-State Solution, co-organised by France and Saudi Arabia.

Moreover, he will participate in the Greece-Romania-Bulgaria-Croatia quadrilateral cooperation scheme and will attend a Transatlantic Dinner hosted by US Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
