According to the Egyptian Foreign Ministry, Abdelatty stressed to Barrack Cairo's rejection of any infringement on Syria's sovereignty and that a comprehensive political solution remains the only path to stability.
The Egyptian FM also condemned Israel's repeated violations of Syrian territory and its breaches of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement with Syria.
Moreover, Abdelatty voiced Egypt's full support for Lebanon's state institutions and the Lebanese state's efforts to exercise authority over all of its territory.
He condemned Israel's repeated attacks on Lebanon as blatant violations of international law and UN Security Council Resolution 1701. He also urged stronger international support to help Lebanon face its challenges and reinforce stability.
