According to the Egyptian presidency, President El-Sisi’s remarks came during an inspection visit to the Egyptian Military Academy within the Strategic Command in the New Administrative Capital.

El-Sisi reaffirmed Egypt’s sincere and strong commitment to ending the Gaza war, contributing to the strip’s reconstruction, and delivering humanitarian aid to the Palestinian people while safeguarding Egyptian lives.

"Nobody should ask me, though, to risk the lives of Egyptians or enter into a conflict to deliver the aid," said the president.

"Egypt is exerting efforts to prevent the broadening of the conflict of Gaza to spare the region from disastrous consequences."

During his speech, El-Sisi condemned the attacks on some Egyptian embassies abroad, noting that "these acts stemmed partly from ignorance and partly from malice and deceit by those with ill intent."

The president said, "Egypt does not conspire against anyone, that the Egyptian people are inherently peaceful yet resilient against harm, and that no one will be able to inflict damage on Egypt."

El-Sisi engaged in dialogue with academy students about internal developments and praised the economic and security conditions.

The president noted that regional challenges have resulted in a loss of approximately $9 billion in Suez Canal revenues over the past two years.

El-Sisi praised "the level of understanding, awareness and resilience of the Egyptian people, which has strengthened since 2011, despite the costly plots and conspiracies they endured."

He added that the Egyptian’s high level of awareness has been reflected in their reactions to current challenges.

El-Sisi stressed that the region is at a critical juncture that requires sound judgment and careful consideration of every step, as any miscalculation could lead to the unknown.

During his speech, the president stated that his repeated visits to the academy aim to monitor the conditions of students and continuously develop educational programmes that refine their abilities, thereby preparing distinguished national cadres to serve state institutions.

The president expressed pride in the seriousness and commitment he witnessed among the students, urging them to preserve their awareness, understanding, morale, health, and faith in God.

Additionally, he sent a message of gratitude and appreciation to their families for raising a generation capable of carrying the nation’s trust and leading it toward a safer, more stable future.

According to the Egyptian presidency, El-Sisi was received by Lieutenant-General Ashraf Zahir, the Director of the Egyptian Military Academy, along with members of the academy.

During the visit, President El-Sisi performed the fajr prayers with the students and followed up on their training activities, according to the Egyptian presidency.
