The Confederation of African Football (CAF) approved Zamalek's request to host both matches after receiving consent from the Somali side.

The first leg will take place on Saturday 18 October with the return scheduled for Friday in the 24 of the same month.

Dekedaha reached the round of 32 after edging Sudan’s Al-Zamala on the away goal rule following a 2-2 aggregate draw.

Zamalek, who won the Confederation Cup in 2019 and 2024, will be looking to regain form following a poor run in the domestic league.

The Cairo club are winless in their last three matches, drawing with Gouna and Ghazl El-Mahalla before falling 2-1 to rivals Al Ahly in the derby.

The White Knights were knocked out in last season’s quarter-finals in a surprise exit and will hope for a more convincing run this term.
