Diaa Rashwan, head of Egypt’s State Information Service (SIS), said the summit has attracted a broad international media presence, with applications from newspapers, television networks, radio stations, and news agencies across multiple continents and languages.
This includes 173 correspondents from accredited foreign media based in Egypt and 59 journalists arriving from abroad specifically to report on the summit’s proceedings and outcomes.
Rashwan added that the registered outlets include 18 leading global news agencies, 36 international television networks, and 18 of the world’s most prominent newspapers, representing regions such as the United States (14 media institutions), Europe (32), Asia (22), and the Arab world (17).
Hosted in the Egyptian Red Sea city of Sharm El-Sheikh, the summit brings together international and regional leaders to witness the signing of the Agreement to End the War in Gaza.
