The talks reviewed the long-standing partnership between Egypt and the United States, with El-Sisi expressing deep appreciation for Trump’s pivotal role in securing the ceasefire and pledging Egypt’s continued efforts to implement the “Trump peace plan” and overcome any challenges facing it.

El-Sisi emphasized that Egypt recognizes the United States as a cornerstone of any lasting peace in the Middle East, adding that true peace requires exceptional leadership capable of taking bold and courageous initiatives — such as those demonstrated by President Trump.

Trump, for his part, praised El-Sisi’s leadership and Egypt’s key role in achieving the historic Gaza agreement, expressing his pleasure to co-chair the summit and reaffirming Washington’s commitment to work with regional partners to build a future based on cooperation and prosperity.

The two leaders also discussed bilateral relations.

El-Sisi expressed his aspiration to continue working with Trump to strengthen the strategic partnership between Egypt and the United States and advance cooperation in various fields, particularly economic development.

Trump underscored his support for boosting US-Egypt economic and investment ties, encouraging American companies to expand their presence in Egypt, and affirming that the US would back Egypt in international financial institutions.
