The Church blesses this agreement, which ensures an end to the multifaceted humanitarian tragedy endured by the Palestinian people over the past two years, its statement issued Monday evening read.

It also values the pivotal role of the Egyptian state and all its institutions, led by President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi, who spared no effort to end this catastrophic situation and remained steadfast in his noble and principled pursuit of peace in the region.

“The Church prays to our Lord, the Prince of Peace, to grant His eternal peace to our region, to bless all peacemakers, and to bring tranquility and stability to the entire world.”
