Over the next five days, Cairo and Lower Egypt will see highs around 30°C and lows near 20°C, the Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) said.
The North Coast will record highs of 28°C and lows of 19°C, it added.
Northern Upper Egypt will experience daytime highs of 31°C and nighttime lows of 17°C.
Meanwhile, Egypt's deep south will remain hot, with highs reaching around 39°C and lows of 24°C.
According to the EMA, light and scattered rain showers are likely on Wednesday over parts of the western North Coast and northern Lower Delta.
Moderate winds are expected from Wednesday through Sunday, particularly in southern Sinai and Upper Egypt.
Egypt will switch to winter time on 31 October, setting clocks back by one hour at midnight and moving from GMT+3 to GMT+2.
Winter will start on 21 December, bringing relief after this year’s summer heatwaves.
