The event was attended by the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Ahmed Khalifa, and the Minister of Planning, Economic Development, and International Cooperation, Rania Al-Mashat, along with branch commanders, senior military leaders, strategic experts, public figures, and media representatives.
Major General Sherif Fikry, Head of Military Intelligence, opened the session, highlighting the pivotal role of the Armed Forces Strategic Studies Center in analyzing the evolving nature of warfare and contemporary developments to help the Armed Forces enhance their capabilities in safeguarding Egypt’s national security.
He noted that the study aims to draw lessons from ongoing regional and global transformations.

A group of strategic experts and researchers contributed to the study, which concluded with several recommendations and proposed scenarios to address regional and international shifts affecting Egypt’s national security.
The session ended with a Q&A segment addressing attendees’ questions.
At the conclusion of the event, General Saqr conveyed the greetings and appreciation of President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, to the participants.
He praised the quality and relevance of the research, emphasizing the importance of utilizing all available capabilities and continuing research and development to maintain the Armed Forces’ highest levels of combat readiness in line with the evolution of modern military strategies.
