Under coach Ahmed El-Kass, the young Pharaohs showed strong early intent and took the lead just three minutes into the game with Ahly midfielder Belal Attia scoring the first goal.

Eight minutes later, Enppi striker Abdelaziz El Zoghbi doubled the lead, while Hamza Abdelkarim, another Ahly player, added the third in the 27th minute.

Midfielder Omar Kamal completed the rout in the 72nd minute, confirming Egypt’s fine start to the tournament.

Haiti’s forward Nikolai Olivier Pierre scored a consolation goal in the 20th minute, but it was not enough to alter the match’s outcome.

This edition marks Egypt’s second participation in the FIFA U-17 World Cup since 1997, when they reached the quarterfinals before being eliminated by Spain.

The young Pharaohs have been drawn alongside Venezuela, England, and Haiti in Group E, with the tournament running from 3 to 27 November in Qatar.

Egypt will face Venezuela on Friday in their second group game before taking on England three days later, seeking to advance in the competition.
