In a statement, the foreign ministry said it has worked closely with the National Election Authority (NEA) to ensure a smooth, transparent voting process for Egyptians abroad, emphasising its commitment to enabling as many citizens as possible to cast their ballots and exercise their constitutional right to political participation.
A total of 139 electoral committees have been established across 117 countries, with all logistical and technical facilities provided at Egyptian embassies and consulates to guarantee the integrity and efficiency of the process.
Operations rooms have been set up in every mission to remain active 24 hours a day throughout the voting period to coordinate directly with the NEA in Cairo.
Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty directed the ministry’s officials to maintain full coordination with the NEA and ensure readiness at all diplomatic and consular missions hosting expatriate voters.
Over the past weeks, a series of coordination meetings were held between ministry representatives and the NEA to review organizational and logistical measures ahead of the elections.
Egyptians living abroad will be able to vote at designated embassies and consulates in their country of residence by presenting valid identification, in accordance with NEA regulations.
The upcoming elections — scheduled for Egyptians abroad on 7–8 November and for domestic voters in two phases on 10–11 and 24–25 November 2025 — will determine the composition of the 596-member House of Representatives, comprising 284 individual seats and 284 seats filled through the absolute closed party-list system, in addition to 28 members appointed by presidential decree.
