The two-day event, running Saturday and Sunday, is hosting over 2,500 participants.
The agenda features panels, workshops, and keynote sessions covering key topics, including digital transformation, media ethics, audience trust, and the evolving role of AI in news reporting.
Organizers emphasized that the forum aims to play a pivotal role in guiding the media industry as technological advancements continue to accelerate across all sectors.
These developments, they added, are a driving force reshaping the future of the industry, making it essential for media outlets to take proactive steps to stay relevant and maintain operational effectiveness.
EMF 2025 is organized in collaboration with several prominent Egyptian, regional, and international partners.
The first day’s programme features a high-profile symposium, Media: How Is It Changing?, with speakers including Tarek Nour, Chairman of United Media Services; Caroline Faraj, Vice President of CNN Worldwide and Editor-in-Chief of CNN Arabic; Maya Sblini, Managing Editor of France 24 Arabic; and Wouter van Tongeren, CEO of RNTC Media.
The symposium will be followed by a panel on financial journalism, On Financial Reporting: How Do We Present the Numbers?, featuring MP Ahmed Samir Zakaria, member of the Economic Committee in the Egyptian Senate, and Yassin El-Gohary, presenter of CNBC Arabia’s Bil Masry programme.
