This tear, the screenings will take place at three key Cairo venues: Zawya Cinema, Nile Cinema, and Zamalek Cinema.

The Panorama's organizers also plan to hold special screenings outside the capital, expanding the reach of the festival.

The Panorama of the European Film was originally established in 2004 by Misr International Films and since 2014 it moved under the umbrella of Zawya Cinema.

For nearly two decades, the festival has championed a diverse and often bold selection of contemporary European cinematic voices, offering a unique window into current trends and societal discussions within Europe.

The event will also engage with film enthusiasts and industry professionals beyond the screening room through its parallel programme: from a variety of masterclasses, workshops, to discussions featuring participating filmmakers and international industry guests.

The accompanying Panorama Podcast - launched with the 14th edition - will return. The podcast typically features conversations with Egyptian filmmakers, providing local insights into the festival’s thematic selections and programming choices.

This year's visual identity draws direct inspiration from the editorial process. The design is based on the editor's timeline, with a spectrum of colors symbolizing the layered narratives and complex weaving required in cinematic storytelling.

The organizers are yet to reveal details regarding the full film schedule, the list of guest filmmakers, and other events.
