Dendias offered his congratulations to President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi, the Egyptian government, and the Egyptian people on the museum’s opening, calling it a milestone that embodies Egypt’s timeless contribution to world heritage.

The comments came during his meeting in Athens with Egypt’s ambassador to Greece, Omar Amer, and Defence Attaché Colonel Amr Rashad.

The two sides discussed ways to deepen defence and strategic cooperation between Cairo and Athens.

Dendias highlighted the “solid and growing partnership” between the two countries, particularly after the creation of the High-Level Cooperation Council, which he said has elevated bilateral relations to a strategic level.

Ambassador Amer thanked Greece for its ongoing coordination with Egypt in various fields and reaffirmed Cairo’s commitment to expanding cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
