The president was received by Interior Minister Mahmoud Tawfik, along with several senior officials from the Police Academy and the Ministry of Interior.
Presidential spokesman Ambassador Mohamed El-Shennawy stated that El-Sisi stressed the objective standards he has instructed be applied to select the most qualified candidates to join the police service.
Per the presidency, El-Sisi also held an interactive dialogue with new applicants, discussing developments on the domestic, regional, and international fronts.
He underscored that recent domestic developments affirm the cohesion of the Egyptian people and their determination to guide the nation toward a stage of development and achievement.
The president emphasized that regional circumstances require all Egyptians to unite to continue advancing the country, protect it from any threats, and safeguard its gains, ensuring that citizens can fully reap the benefits of development through sustained security and stability.
He also praised the dedication demonstrated by the new applicants aspiring to join the police force and serve the homeland.
El-Sisi expressed deep appreciation for the essential role of the police in protecting the country and paid tribute to the significant sacrifices made by members of the police and their families over the past years in confronting terrorism.
